Can you get results with just 30 days of P90X? YES YOU CAN!

I have the honor to help my old buddy that I have known for almost 10 years. Jon Oh and I both took a prep course in our home country in 2002 to learn American English and SAT. I have not been in touch with him since we both came to USA to pursue our undergraduate studies, until he kept seeing my P90X posts on Facebook and decided to contact me few weeks back.

Jon has been really active the past few years and has done several marathon and triathlons, but he wants to get the best body and best shape in his life. So we talked about P90X, his diet plan and the supplements that he should be on.

Here’s what Jon did the past 30 days:

  1. Diet plan of Phase 1, level 1 from the P90X Nutrition Guide ~ 2000 cal at high protein, low carb diet
  2. Doubles routine which he started since Day 1; doing 20-30 min HIIT cardio (only recommend this to someone who is really fit and active to begin with)
  3. Supplements like P90X Recovery Drink, Shakeology, Syntrax Essence (whey)
  4. Max reps on pushup and pull-ups, while lifting around 10-12 reps on weights routines

Jon only lost 5 lbs the past 30 days, but this is the case where you should not measure your progress based on your bodyweight. A picture is worth a thousand words. And in this case, it shows the change in your body composition. So always take your progress pictures.
