Recommended Supplements: Shakeology, P90X Recovery Formula, Beachbody Whey, Strength Muscle Mens FormulaPerformance Formula, Energy & Endurance

Other Products (non-Beachbody)Myofusion (whey), for those who likes milky creamy taste for whey

P90X is a 90 day workout program that consists of 3 days of strength training and 3 days of cardio. In order to maximize your results, it is recommended that you have a pullup bar and good sets of dumbbells, preferably an adjustable ones. If you want to gain more muscle mass, then P90X would be a better fit for you.

Insanity is a 60 day high intensity cardio circuit program and once completed, you could move on to the Insanity: Asylum, a 30 day sports performance & agility program. You would not need any equipment at all for Insanity, but you do need a some equipment for Asylum, which you could buy together with the DVD program. If you want to focus more on leaning down and do not care much about gaining muscle mass other than getting more defined, then these combo would be great for you.

I DO NOT recommend creating a P90X + Insanity hybrid if you’re a new user and have never done full 90 days of P90X or full 60 days of Insanity. Its is better to slowly adapting your body to these intense routines, instead of shocking it right away, which could easily resulting in injury and overtrained.

  • I done Insanity, cross fit and bodybuilding, I followed the diet plan and workouts, but I didin’t lose any weight or inches. What am I doing wrong? I haven’t been able to lose weight in 5 years. I workout and diet religiously. It seems my body adapt very quickly to the workouts and diets.

  • Bummer bro. Did you try to reach out to few people who have done the program?

But on the bright side, you got the results, which shows that you’re a great self-motivator. We def need more people like you!

  • I ordered P90x two years ago and now even doing Insanity. I never feel I got the support or anyone to reach out to me for support, even on food or shakeology. I did get in great shape I just had to do it myself and motivate my self. I never even got a T-shirt. Tony and Shawn are my motivators though.

  • Hi Nick, I’m from the UK and on week 4 of my first round of p90x… I have been on a 1800calorie diet at 50%protein 30% carb and 20% fat from day one. My starting weight was 208lbs and 25%body fat…I’m
Hoping to get to 180lbs and approx 10%body fat..I love the workouts and want to introduce more cardio to help me lose weight.

Recently I have not lost any weight or body fat (since week2) so I’m a little concerned that maybe I’m doing something wrong… I dont have a p90x coach as that facility is not available here in the UK, I’d greatly appreciate any advice and tips.

    Thanks.
